Join the Operation Just Cause Ring
This form has changed. If an effort to assist in curbing SPAM to your mailbox, OJC gives you the option of including your email address in your ring code. If your email address is posted on a page on the Internet, it WILL get harvested and added to lists used by SPAMmers.

If you are new to HTML, and more importantly new to making Internet pages, figuring out how to download a graphic file to your computer and getting it uploaded to your page host can seem daunting. You now have the option of choosing to use NO GRAPHIC in your ring code. We have also made it easier to use the HTML code you get for adding the ring to your page.

By selecting the graphic you wish to use, the HTML will be modified so it contains the correct graphics file name.

In the past, changing your information has been difficult. We improved all that and included the ability to get a new copy of your code. Just CLICK! and you will be taken to a page similar to this but it is for those who are already ring members and just want to update their information or get new ring code. All you need is your ring ID# (starts with 10 and is 7 digits long.).

Please read this through before submitting the form.
Steps to join the OJC Ring:
1.  Adopt a POW/MIA through Operation Just Cause.
If you don't already have a POW/MIA to make a webpage for, click the Adopt Now link:
Adopt A POW/MIA/KIA NOW!

2.Choose a graphic for the ring code you will be posting. Also, copy a graphic to your site:

Operation Just Cause Ring

You may use your choice of these graphics in your ring code.  Just click on the radio button next to that graphic you choose.  If you want to use something else, check with us FIRST.

Right click on an image above and select Save image as... Remember where you save it so you can find it later.

3.  Submit the following form.
[[ Do NOT click on the Submit button more than once.  Do NOT use the Enter/Return key anywhere on this form. Depending on your system, that may generate sending the form]]

Your Name:  This is what will appear in the ring code that we generate for you.

The URL of Your POW/MIA/KIA Page :
The page address where your ring code will reside (on your honor/memorial page, not a page full of rings).

Your POW/MIA/KIA Web Site Title:
Don't know what to put here? Something like:

Your E-mail Address:
Your email address is required. You DO NOT, however, have to post it in your ring code. We need to be able to contact you if there is a problem with how/where your ring code is posted. If you already have your email address posted on your page(s) it probably doesn't matter. If you do not post your email address, you may want to avoid it being posted on the ring code. Look at the sample ring code posted above. The line that reads,                    This site is owned by Operation Just Cause

has an email address embedded as a link with the Operation Just Cause part of the line. This is where your name will appear with your email address. If you want your email included so people can click on your name to send you an email, click Yes If you want to keep that private, click No and we won't build it into the code. Not sure? Click No.You can change it on the Ring changes page later if you change your mind.
Yes  No

Password:  (The password allows you to later change your site's attributes such as your URL, or your e-mail  address.)  Please do not forget it!

If you have any problems, e-mail OJC Ring.)
       <- Please click ONCE only

You will be taken to a different page after you submit the above form. Your HTML code is on that page. It has already been personalized to match the information you supplied on your form. It, and a copy of the graphic, are all you'll need to add to your page. A copy of the HTML will also be included in your email.

4.  Add the supplied HTML code (from response to step 3 above) to the appropriate page.

5.  Upload page to your site.

If you haven't already done so, upload the graphic you chose to your ring.

6.  Test the page on the Internet.
Be sure to reload or refresh the new page to view your latest changes.

7.  When everything looks good, email us at ring@ojc.org

We will notifiy you when your site has been added.

After you have been added to the OJC Ring, you should then be able to navigate the entire ring until you make it back to your own page!  If you have trouble, please let us know.
